What We Offer
These programs focus on current student health and prevention issues that affect K-12 students' health, school readiness, and ability to learn. A network of school health educators meets quarterly to learn about local and regional programs that can supplement and support classroom instruction. School climate and culture issues affecting students and staff are considered by examination of local data and review of research and curriculum. The program offers professional development to educators (teachers, instructional aides and administrators), and collaborates with others to provide community and parent education.
