What We Offer

The HIV/AIDS Prevention Education Program provides leadership, training, and technical assistance to school districts in planning how to implement HIV/AIDS prevention education mandates. Assistance includes needs assessment, curriculum review, and staff development. MCOE also collaborates with health agencies, community organizations, and districts to provide Ed Code mandated periodic inservice education for those providing HIV/AIDS prevention education in schools.
